Pricing

For architectural and interior photography, pricing will vary depending upon the scope of the assignment and how the client intends to use the images. For this type of assignment, please contact me to discuss the specifics of the assignment and I will gladly provide a quote.

Real Estate Photography

For standard real estate photography, for marketing of individual homes, I offer set rates based on the number of photos and the size of the house. The pricing structure is designed to be affordable enough for marketing mainstream homes. My turnaround time for standard real estate photography is by the day following the shoot. Same day service is available for an additional charge. Please contact me to obtain my current rate sheet for this service.

Photography for luxury real estate listings will tend to take more time, in order to obtain higher quality photos than are commonly used for the marketing of more mainstream homes; therefore, I quote for this type of real estate photography on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me to discuss the details and obtain a quote.

Images that will be used to market housing developments, commercial properties, or for general marketing for builders or real estate brokerages, fall under the category of architectural and interior photography, for which I quote on a case-by-case basis.


Licensing and Usage

I typically retain copyright to my images and license their use to my clients. The fee for licensing the images will depend upon how the client intends to use the images, specifically, the length of time during which the client will use the images, and the breadth of use during that time. For example, the license fee to use a given image for worldwide advertising in magazines, mailings, posters, etc., for a period of five years, would be much greater than using the images for local marketing for a period of one year. While it is possible for me to sell the copyright, that would entail a very high fee, since that would imply that the client intends to make maximum use of the images for exclusive worldwide marketing for an unlimited period of time. Since most clients do not need to use the images so extensively, the licensing model represents a cost-effective way for clients to pay only for the usage they really need. It is the same principle as licensing any other kind of intellectual property, such as written material, music, computer software, etc..


Delivery of Photos

My standard delivery method is electronically, via ftp download. For delivery of photos via CD or DVD, there will be an additional charge of $25, plus I will add sales tax to the entire amount due (not just for the CD/DVD).
